Rochester Hills Public Library Gets State Grant
Expanded STEM educational opportunities for students

The Rochester Hills Public Library has been awarded a grant from the State of Michigan to expand STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) educational opportunities for students in the community. The grant will be used to purchase new equipment and materials, as well as to develop new programs and activities.
"We are very excited about the opportunities that this grant will provide for our students," said library director Anne Marie Laucius. "STEM education is essential for preparing students for the jobs of the future, and we are committed to providing our community with the resources they need to succeed."
The library will use the grant to purchase new equipment, including 3D printers, robotics kits, and virtual reality headsets. The library will also develop new programs and activities, such as coding classes, engineering workshops, and science experiments.
"We believe that this grant will have a significant impact on the lives of our students," said Laucius. "We are grateful to the State of Michigan for investing in our community and in the future of our children."
The Rochester Hills Public Library is located at 100 East University Drive in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The library is open seven days a week and offers a wide variety of programs and services for all ages.
