Honoring the Victims and Heroes

Every year, College of the Ozarks hosts a heartfelt memorial service to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001. This service provides a space for students, faculty, staff, and community members to gather and pay tribute to the victims and heroes who lost their lives. The service includes readings, music, and a moment of silence to remember the innocent lives that were taken too soon.

Ozarks' Commitment to Remembrance

College of the Ozarks has a longstanding commitment to honoring the memory of those who died on 9/11. The 9/11 memorial service is just one of the ways the college seeks to foster a sense of remembrance and reflection among its community. Service Details

The 2023 9/11 memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, at 10:00 AM in the Ralph Foster Prayer Chapel on the College of the Ozarks campus. The service is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
