Frankfurt, Germany - An explosion occurred in a residential building in the Frankfurt-Westend district on Thursday, injuring three people, one of whom is in serious condition. The cause of the explosion is still unknown, and an investigation is underway.

The explosion occurred at around 9:30 a.m. in a four-story building on Schumannstrasse. According to the fire department, the explosion caused significant damage to the building's facade and several apartments.
